Håkon Bjorheim Abrahamsen (born 1975) works as a trainee doctor at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Stavanger University Hospital, and is a PhD fellow in the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation. His research project is based at the University of Bergen and studies human factors and patient safety in pre-hospital services, with particular focus on the air ambulance service in Norway. He has a solid interdisciplinary background as an engineer with specialisation in medical technology and cybernetics.
