We hereby retract the review article on Optic neuritis diagnosis, treatment and follow up (1). The article was based on a broad search in the literature, a consensus meeting, and the authors collected clinical experience. The authors recognise that due to negligence in the writing process, large sections of the paper are simply translated from a previously published rewiew paper on the same topic (2). We hereby offer our formal apologies for this error and retract our paper.
